Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) industry, specifically within the Rental Division
, including hands-on knowledge of
MEWPs
,
Scissor lifts, Boom lifts, Telehandlers and Truck-mounted boom lifts.
Responsibilities
:
? Plan and execute predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Conduct routine inspections on both in-house and on-site fleets to ensure optimal performance.
? Ensure all maintenance work is documented according to internal and external requirement and the records are analyzed to report.
? Collaborate with inventory and procurement managers to maintain an optimal level of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring readiness for timely repairs and maintenance.
? Recruit, train and evaluate maintenance staff to enhance their skill sets and efficiency.
? Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and procedures aimed at minimizing equipment downtime and preventing operational disruptions.
? Supervise and manage the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and within the planned budget
? Oversee end-to-end operational activities, including mobilization and demobilization, management of new and ongoing job orders, transportation coordination, testing, safety checks and other related tasks.
? Create and submit reports to the line manager on budgets, progress and time schedules
? Identify potential upgrades and maintenance opportunities to reduce equipment failures, avoid costly repairs and extend asset lifespan.
? Ensure prompt resolution of any customer complaints related to machine breakdown.
? Establish and maintain contact with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for future business opportunities.

Experience
Requirements
:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Hands-on experience working with a fleet of heavy equipment, with the ability to intervene when necessary.
- Technical expertise and certifications in heavy equipment and parts maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians.
- Excellent communication abilities with senior management, customers and vendors.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets and track repair costs efficiently.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in the same field in
UAE/GCC
.
