Regional Sales Operations Manager

In this role, The purpose of this position is to work as a Field Service Engineer for ABB Measurement & Analytics in UAE & Oversight Countries, focusing on Field Instrumentation products and instrumentation service sales. The role requires expertise in ABB's range of field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices. Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient service execution and contribute to service business growth. Responsibilities include commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, service contracts, telephonic support, and coordination of expert service teams when required. Additionally, the role involves generating service sales opportunities by actively engaging with customers. Be ready to travel within the region and globally if needed.

This role is contributing to the Sales Operation Manager in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute after-sales service activities on-site, ensuring high-quality support and customer satisfaction Provide technical support, including troubleshooting, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of ABB field instrumentation products Identify customer needs during service visits and actively promote ABB's service offerings to support service sales Participate in FAT, Pre-FAT, SAT, and other field activities to ensure smooth project execution and customer alignment Maintain strong relationships with customers, offering proactive service solutions and identifying upselling opportunities Ensure full compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and ABB operational procedures Coordinate with factories, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver seamless service support Prepare detailed documentation for all service tasks, including reporting, planning, scheduling, and billing Provide training to customers and partners on ABB's field instrumentation solutions to enhance user competence Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service efficiency and reduce operational costs

Qualifications:

You are engaged in providing high-quality field service execution and technical support using industry-standard instrumentation methodologies, immersed in the industrial automation and process control market in the UAE region You have at least 2-5 years of experience in field instrumentation service, including commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting (working with ABB's Field Instrumentation product portfolio and service offerings is an added advantage) Highly adept in using and supporting digitalization tools and remote service platforms for field instrumentation, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency You are captivated by delivering outstanding customer service and innovative in identifying and pursuing new service business opportunities Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field, with proven experience in complex service environments and cross-functional collaboration You are at ease communicating in English, ensuring clarity and professionalism in a multicultural, client-facing setting You don't have any restrictions to hold a driving license or work in UAE & oversight countries
