Job Responsibilities:

Supervise installation and commissioning of mechanical fire protection systems, including sprinkler, FM-200, deluge, fire pumps, fire hose reels, and wet/dry riser systems. Ensure proper integration and coordination of mechanical systems with fire alarm systems. Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, load calculations, hydraulic calculations, and BOQs. Ensure all activities comply with UAE Fire & Life Safety Codes, NFPA standards, and Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) regulations. Assign daily tasks to technicians and site team; monitor their performance and provide technical guidance. Lead and mentor technicians and junior site staff to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Attend site inspections, client meetings, and DCD inspections as required. Coordinate closely with project managers, procurement, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth execution. Prepare detailed technical reports, method statements, risk assessments, and testing/commissioning documentation. Handle client communication related to project technicalities, variations, approvals, and handovers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of proven UAE experience in Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE Civil Defense regulations. Experience in assigning and leading site teams/technicians in daily work execution. Hands-on experience with DCD portal submissions and inspection procedures. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic design software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. UAE Driving License - preferred.
