The Service Desk Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to Apple and Windows hardware, software, SaaS services, network, operating system, printing, and Internet access problems to our employees and agencies world-wide.

What you\'ll do:
  • Associate as an entry level role.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Assembly employees seeking technical assistance via FreshService in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate incidents to line manager and the 3rd line teams.
  • Work alongside our Systems Engineer, Network Operations, and Information Security teams to ensure that our policies and guidelines are always followed.
  • Provide remote technical assistance for issues related to computers, software, and SaaS.
  • Build and maintain the IT Knowledgebase.
  • Work as part of a global team.
  • Operate from Dubai\'s office - This role is also providing on-site support so will be based 5 days a week in the office.
  • Support staff around the world via our ticketing system.
  • Follow documented processes and procedures within the team.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service.
  • Maintain and track IT inventory.
  • Work with partners and vendors to service and repair end user devices locally and remotely.
  • Configure and ship end user devices.
  • Create or amend user accounts in Active Directory.
  • Provide basic support before escalating to the teams above.
  • Ensure that all incidents Requests are dealt with within contracted SLA timeframe.
  • Update basic systems such M365 / Google groups.
Requirements:

Desired Technology Experience:
  • Strong understanding of both macOS X and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Computer management using a tool such as JAMF and Team Viewer.
  • Experience managing some of the following products.
  • G Suite.
  • Office 365.
  • Box.
  • MS Teams.
  • Kaseya.
  • Mimecast.
  • Okta.
You should have:
  • Minimum of two (2) years prior experience with providing technical support in a large corporate environment.
  • Ability to provide quality technical support, attention to detail, and a positive customer service attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A collaborative attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects.
  • Certifications and continuing education preferred.
