Overview of the role:

\xef\x82\xa7 Negotiate Repair rates & follow procedures and issue Work Order to respective Garages.
\xef\x82\xa7 To manage the Mechanical/Accident maintenance & repair of all vehicles ensuring most cost effective and efficient method of repairs and as per prescribed service manual.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure service levels given by vendors/ suppliers meets the expectation of Hertz customers
\xef\x82\xa7 Co-ordinate with Service advisors and garages to make sure, vehicle service, maintenance and repairs are carried out satisfactorily and repeat complaints during operation are not raised for same issues. Escalate to Aftersales Managers of respective brands in case if the repairs are getting delayed.
\xef\x82\xa7 Effectively co ordinate with internal business team regarding type of complaints in the vehicle and accordingly vehicle is deployed for maintenance and repair optimizing turnaround time for repair.
\xef\x82\xa7 Transfer vehicles using NRT, Short NRT to and from desks.
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate with drivers to drop and pick the vehicle, to and from service stations.
\xef\x82\xa7 Visit garages at times and inspect the progress of vehicle repairs. Liaise with respective Workshop supervisors/ Advisors for quicker turnaround time.
\xef\x82\xa7 Set expectation on ETA and follow-up based on the forecasted ETA. Share Daily report to Business on the status of repair, against ETA shared. Capture the summary of repairs and progress in NRT remarks.
\xef\x82\xa7 Support Hertz customers for any road side assistance and troubleshooting by giving on call assistance.
\xef\x82\xa7 Share daily counts of planned VS delivered with Workshop Supervisor. Go through the desk closure formality before closing each day and tally the inventory as per respective Carpro Statuses.
\xef\x82\xa7 Perform daily inventory tallying of vehicles under custody and document the findings.
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate with other departments for exchange of vehicles and keys, as usual.
\xef\x82\xa7 Share necessary documents with insurance companies for registering claims & coordinate for Insurance proceedings.

What you will do:

\xef\x82\xa7 To monitor and control vehicle down time of the fleet within the maintenance cycle ensuring this is kept to a minimum reducing the cost of replacement vehicles while ensuring that vendors are meeting agreed TAT for Service/Mechanical Repairs.
\xef\x82\xa7 To ensure that all estimates for mechanical/Accident repairs are evaluated against concerns reported and classified as \xe2\x80\x9cNeed to Do\xe2\x80\x9d / Preventive Maintenance prior to approving repairs while adhering to Vehicle repair criteria with regards to warranty/ Sale/Contract expiry.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure that the queries of the fellow departments are replied at the earliest in order to inform them for proactively providing update/feedback to the customers.
\xef\x82\xa7 To ensure that mechanical/Accident vehicles in the Maintenance process are tracked on a daily basis and ETA for vehicle delivery is shared through daily report of WIP vehicles.
\xef\x82\xa7 To reduce the repeat repairs on the vehicles by strictly following the processes thereby enhancing the customer service values.
\xef\x82\xa7 To ensure that Work orders are issued to vendors within the agreed SLA for mechanical jobs done.

Required Skills to be successful:

- Minimum Experience:
- 6-8 years\' experience in after sales service in Automobile workshop will be an advantage.

- Work requires good technical interpersonal skills. Ability to work on carpro and MS office effectively. Good command over English Language (Verbal and Written) is a must.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Good communication skills , negotiation skills, planning and organisation. Customer relations skills, problem solving skills and team building skills, computer knowledge , exposure on Car rental software such carpro or similar , MIS tools, MS Office, especially Word, Outlook and Excel.

- Graduate/Diploma holder in Automobile or mechanical Engineering with minimum of 6-8 years\' experience in mechanical workshop in Automotive Industry , operation and maintenance department of Car rental companies
