Marhaba Group is looking for a performance-focused
SEO Executive
to own and execute our organic search strategy across multiple web properties. This role will play a critical part in improving visibility, driving high-quality organic traffic and generating leads through strategic on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in SEO best practices, a data-driven mindset, and experience working across content, tech and marketing teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Strategy & Implementation
? Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
? Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content teams and identify new opportunities.
? Optimize website content, landing pages, product descriptions, and metadata using best-practice on-page SEO techniques.
? Manage and optimize internal linking structure for better crawlability and user experience.
? Create and maintain an SEO roadmap and content calendar in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
Technical SEO & Site Health
? Perform regular technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4.
? Work closely with developers to implement SEO enhancements including schema markup, page speed improvements, and mobile responsiveness.
? Monitor crawl errors, broken links, redirects, and indexation issues and work with relevant teams for resolution.
? Lead the implementation of Core Web Vitals and site performance enhancements.
Off-Page SEO & Backlink Strategy
? Build and maintain a clean, high-quality backlink profile through outreach, partnerships, and content amplification strategies.
? Conduct competitive backlink analysis and identify opportunities for link acquisition.
? Track and disavow toxic links, ensuring site credibility and domain health.
Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Optimization
? Track keyword rankings, traffic trends, bounce rates, and conversions using SEO and analytics tools.
? Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports highlighting KPIs (Traffic, Leads, CTR, Ranking Positions, Bounce Rate, etc.).
? Use insights from GA4, Search Console, and heatmaps to improve user engagement and SEO effectiveness.
? Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes, SEO trends, and industry updates to maintain performance.
Good to Have
? Experience with local SEO strategies, especially in UAE/GCC markets.
? Knowledge of SEO for large websites or marketplaces (1000+ pages).
? Familiarity with multilingual or Arabic SEO.
? Experience with tools like Surfer SEO, Clearscope, or MarketMuse.
? Understanding of how SEO integrates with paid search and CRO.
Skills & Qualifications
? 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience (ideally in lead gen or transactional websites).
? Proficiency in tools such as SE Ranking, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and Tag Manager.
? Strong understanding of HTML/CSS basics, structured data/schema, and technical SEO.
? Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
? Strong project management and collaboration skills.
