Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Project Engineer
to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of project execution, from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and implement the
Project Execution Plan (PEP)
.
Support the proposals team by providing input on project execution strategies.
Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring project requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
Maintain strong working relationships with the Managing Director, senior management, and operations team.
Organize and manage all project-related and contractual meetings.
Assist the Planning Engineer in developing project schedules and execution plans.
Monitor work progress and prepare weekly status reports.
Review technical documents from subcontractors/vendors prior to client submission.
Coordinate all project activities to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee procurement activities: raise/review material requisitions, approve supplier documents, and manage delivery schedules.
Monitor material usage and ensure adherence to budget.
Track work execution and labor productivity to meet budgeted man-hours.
Identify, document, and invoice all contract variations and additional works outside original project scope.
Liaise with the Quality Control (QC) department to meet QA/QC requirements.
Collaborate with all engineering disciplines to ensure timely project execution.
Support logistics: coordinate material shipment and receipt at site.
Interface with all project stakeholders (onshore and offshore) to drive daily progress.
Develop proactive monitoring systems to detect and mitigate project risks early.
Prepare and deliver project startup, progress, and close-out reports to senior management (including presentations).
Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001 standards.
Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
Adhere to the company's Management Information System (MIS) policies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 10-15 years' proven experience in project management and offshore construction within the Oil & Gas industry.
Must be capable of independently managing assigned projects.
