AED 6,500 - 8,000 (Based on experience & performance in technical test)

Work Schedule: 6 days a week

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong backend development background, particularly in PHP Yii / Yii2 frameworks, to work on a robust, existing codebase and contribute to meaningful, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using PHP (Yii / Yii2). Write clean, scalable, and secure code following best practices. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and technical discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development. Expertise in PHP Yii / Yii2 frameworks (or strong grasp of similar PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter). Deep understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and MySQL databases. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Ability to write efficient, reusable, and testable code. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have

Experience with deployment, CI/CD, and server configuration. Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
