Job Description
Job Summary: The Senior Arabic Writer will be responsible for conveying the organization's external messages, promoting awareness through written and translated content. Your Responsibilities:
- Drafting government communications and proposals from a given context brief by applying originality in thought and writing
- Creating content in Arabic for external publication through print or digital platforms
- Developing and editing digital and print materials, presentations, videos and press releases
- Research and fact checking, reporting and writing for editorial projects (e.g., news, feature stories, event summaries, etc.) and various other types of articles promoting the organization and its ventures
- Familiar with developing Arabic content for SEO purposes
- Standardizing content across platforms and media
- Reporting on the quality of writing by other colleagues
- Edit content produced by other members of the team
- Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping our audience in mind.
- Arabic copy editing and editorial review
- Working with senior management on special projects
- Bachelor of Literature, Arabic Department or a bachelor of journalism or a relevant degree
- More than 5 years of working experience in Arabic content writing and Proofreading/editing
- Entrepreneur mindset with documented track record of successful innovation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Arabic is a must
- Strong command of English and English to Arabic translation
- Having wide lexical knowledge in Arabic.
- Attention to detail
