The Senior UX Researcher is a key role based in Dubai and will directly report to the Senior Manager, Customer Experience and Design. As a Senior UX Researcher at Johnson Controls, your research is critical and foundational for crafting excellent products and experiences. Your research will advise strategy and design decisions for products and services built by Johnson Controls. With support from senior design leaders, you will collaborate across fields to conduct quantitative and qualitative research. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will also provide guidance and mentoring to junior members on the team. To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable in working through ambiguity to translate research into insights that support great product and service experiences. How you will do it
As a Senior UX Researcher you will evangelize user centricity in the organization and validate the desirability of our products and services. As an experienced research professional your role will include planning, recruiting, conducting, and presenting insights from quantitative and qualitative research. You will collaborate with other researchers, designers, technology, product, and business partners to translate research into practical plans and insights that move findings forward. You will need to have proficiency, skills and knowledge to lead a medium to large size well-scoped project and feel comfortable working through ambiguity. Success requires a curious problem solver and storyteller that can identify key insights and present them in a consumable way for stakeholders. We are also looking to you to provide mentorship to junior members on team, champion research standards, and excel with minimal direction.
