Our client, a prominent financial institution in the UAE is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join their treasury function. The purpose of the role is to manage the liquidity position and interest cost hedging strategy, as well as related financial risk management. You will develop policy on relevant areas and provide expert input on areas such as cash management, liquidity forecasting, counterparty analysis and market risk hedging strategy (particularly FX and rates) to relevant stakeholders and the wider group.

Responsibilities:

- Manage available liquidity and interest costs, including cash investments, cash pooling, and debt utilization
- Develop interest hedging strategies, lead regular portfolio company liquidity reviews and manage liquidity forecasting models
- Oversee group cash resources through implementing appropriate pooling and sweeping arrangements
- Leading the structuring of intercompany documentation, in conjunction with the Legal team
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on various areas, including cash management, risk management, and counterparty risk frameworks
- Support M&A activities through funds flow management and financing activities through interest risk strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for cash and financial risk management
- Assist the Treasury Operations team with cash management and hedging arrangements

Requirements

- 15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 8 years in a similar specialist role; - prior experience in a banking environment strongly preferred and experience in UAE/MENA markets is advantageous
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or Accounting; Master\'s degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Professional certifications in Finance or Accounting (e.g., CTP, CFA, FRM, CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA) strongly preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, excellent technical knowledge of financial structuring, products, cash management, and financial risk management
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
