About the Role:
The Senior Transport Engineer will lead and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of transport infrastructure projects. This role demands a strong foundation in traffic engineering, transport planning, and multi-modal design, with the ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior staff. Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Transport Engineer to lead the design and planning of transport infrastructure projects. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative, sustainable, and compliant transport solutions across roads, highways, and urban mobility systems. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical delivery of transport infrastructure projects including roads, intersections, and traffic systems.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments, transport modelling, and feasibility studies.
• Use software tools such as SIDRA, AIMSUN, and VISSIM for network analysis and simulation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and international standards.
• Collaborate with clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and delivery excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support tender preparation and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transport Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in transport engineering, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proficiency in traffic modelling tools (SIDRA, AIMSUN, VISSIM).
• Strong understanding of UAE transport authority requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
