Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Telecom Engineer with over 15 years of proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry-specific communication requirements, safety standards, and technologies used in offshore and onshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and engineering of telecom systems for oil and gas facilities (onshore/offshore).
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure (radio systems, fiber optics, CCTV, PAGA, SCADA, LAN/WAN, VSAT, etc.).
Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and HSE regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during FEED, detailed engineering, and execution phases.
Conduct site surveys, technical evaluations, and vendor assessments.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related engineering field.
Minimum 15 years of telecom engineering experience in oil and gas projects.
Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, NEC, API, etc.).
Experience with major EPC contractors or operating companies.
Proficient in telecom system design tools and AutoCAD.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
