ADNOC Distribution markets, sells, and distributes transportation fuel to both retail and commercial customers. We also run non-fuel services at our service stations.

JOB PURPOSE

Manage developing technical specifications in line with market research to developnew products and upgrade existing products. Ensure the end product received is as per the desired standards. Provide technical support to customers and lubricants team for product insights or specifications and support in complaint resolutions.

KEY ACCOUNTABIILTIES

Provide technical support for used oil testing. Securing OEMs approvals for ADNOC products

Conduct studies and monitor market development on new products and recommend upgrading ADNOC Distribution products to meet new specification, new machinery or new applications

Recommend enhanced methods of optimising on product cost by sourcing alternative, better raw materials, or finished products for re-branding in order to have more competitively priced products

Prepare/update techincal literature for all ADNOC Distribution lube products. Conduct research on equivalant products sold by competitors along with the techincal specifications in order to recommend the equivalents that are most economical and cost effective custominsing products for tender submission

Prepare and review product approval submissions, oil sampling and conducting of free trials to assure product quality in line with expectations

Guide the development of letters requesting information and technical assistance from other oil companies on technical matters, product development and product approvals

Conduct lube inspections for customer equipment, on request, in order to ensure the customer is using products that meet the requirements of the equipment.

Develop the complete list of equipments and the ADNOC Distributions recommended grade that meet the manufacturer\'s requirements and warrenties

Lead the development of a computer database of ADNOC Distribution Products and compareable competitor products including specifications and approvals

Provide technical insights and expertise related to products, for customers in solving technical problems and complaints arising from using ADNOC Distribution products

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Bachelors Dgree in Chemical Engineering or Equivelent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

10 years experience in lube technical operations, of which at least 5 in the retail sector

Knowledge of local and regional laws and regulations
