Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Design Engineer

to join our

Piling Company

. The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural and geotechnical design of foundation solutions, including bored piles, driven piles, micro piles, and diaphragm walls. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and technically sound design solutions in line with project requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare design calculations and drawings for piling and foundation systems. Perform geotechnical and structural analysis using relevant software (e.g., PLAXIS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Revit). Interpret soil investigation reports and apply findings to optimize pile design. Provide technical support during tendering, execution, and project close-out phases. Prepare method statements and design documentation for submission. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments to resolve technical issues. Conduct value engineering and suggest alternative foundation solutions where appropriate. Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree in Geotechnical/Structural Engineering preferred). Professional Engineering license/certification is a plus.

3-5 years of UAE experience

as a Technical Office Engineer in

infrastructure and road projects

. Proficiency in design software: PLAXIS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working with piling contractors or geotechnical consultants. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (preferred), MS Office, and other engineering software. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Familiarity with UAE construction codes and authority standards (e.g., ADM, RTA, DEWA, etc.).
