Al Ain Consulting Engineers is a leading engineering consultancy known for its commitment to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking Senior Technical Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the design team during the concept stage by providing material suggestions and technical details as needed Lead the development of complete construction and tender documentation packages Produce and supervise detailed technical drawings: floor plans, RCPs, joinery details, sections, and elevations Ensure full coordination across disciplines using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows Work closely with project leads and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure project goals are met Participate in preparing and reviewing BOQs, specifications, and material schedules in collaboration with procurement and FF&E teams Stay current with market trends, new materials, and design innovations relevant to project delivery Review and approve shop drawings, mockups, and material submittals from contractors and suppliers Conduct site inspections and provide timely solutions for implementation challenges Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and project standards Maintain clear, organized, and up-to-date project documentation throughout all stages Work collaboratively with the design team and mentor/manage junior designers as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical interior design Strong knowledge of materials, detailing, joinery, and construction processes Up-to-date with current interior design trends and materials Design-oriented with a strong eye for detail and functionality Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination workflows Proven experience in hospitality, residential, workplace, or mixed-use projects Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, guide team members, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines Preferred Arabic speaker
