Senior Site Interior Designer
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the on-site implementation of interior design plans, specifications, and concepts.
• Manage and coordinate the work of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other members of the design team to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless project execution.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals for accuracy and conformance to design intent.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and site personnel.
• Manage project budgets related to on-site implementation, including material procurement and labor costs.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with clients, stakeholders, and the design team regarding project progress and any potential delays or changes.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Resolve on-site design challenges creatively and effectively, proposing alternative solutions as needed.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including site reports, progress photos, and meeting minutes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in interior design, with a significant focus on on-site execution and project management.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex interior design projects from start to finish.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with local (Dubai/UAE) regulations and construction practices is preferred.
• Valid UAE driver's license is an advantage.
