Overview

:


As a Senior System Architect at Airnxt, you'll define the technical roadmap for our aviation platform, which is built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll apply SAFe principles to design and deliver scalable, secure systems that handle real-time aviation data. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams and ensure every solution meets Airnxt's safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Define and maintain system architecture with SAFe, emphasizing GCP services. Plan and oversee the adoption of GCP tools (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, BigQuery). Provide clear technical roadmaps and reference architectures for cloud-native solutions. Ensure code and architectures follow security and compliance standards relevant to aviation. Guide cross-functional teams on integration, data management, and DevSecOps pipelines. Identify potential technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. Conduct architectural, code, and performance reviews with a focus on GCP best practices. Mentor developers and junior architects, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

:

7+ years' experience in software or systems architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. Deep knowledge of SAFe or scaled agile frameworks. Proficiency with GCP services and cloud-native design (Compute Engine, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.). Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and DevSecOps approaches. Ability to design solutions for real-time data processing and analytics. Familiarity with regulatory or compliance requirements, preferably in aviation or other regulated industries. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, or similar). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred

:

SAFe certification(s) such as SAFe Architect or SAFe Program Consultant. Direct experience with aviation systems or MRO platforms. Hands-on knowledge of security best practices and relevant compliance frameworks. GCP-specific certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with advanced data pipelines or machine learning on GCP.

:

Clear, concise communication style with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset and willingness to adapt to shifting priorities. Able to balance innovation with practical delivery timelines.

Location & Work Environment

Hybrid & Remote Options:

Roles are primarily based in

Dubai (HQ) and Cairo (Egypt Agile Hub)

with flexibility for hybrid work depending on position requirements.
