Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Structural Engineer
with expertise insteel structures
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge instructural design, analysis, and supervision of steel projects
, ensuring compliance with international codes, safety standards, and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the
design, analysis, and detailing
of steel structures for various projects. Review and approvestructural drawings, calculations, and specifications
. Conductsite supervision, inspections, and quality control
during project execution. Providetechnical guidance and mentoring
to junior engineers and design teams. Ensure compliance withinternational standards, codes, and regulations
(e.g., AISC, BS, Eurocode, local codes). Coordinate witharchitects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
to achieve project objectives. Prepare and reviewstructural reports, proposals, and design documentation
. Troubleshoot and resolve structural issues during construction. Monitor project progress, cost, and schedule related to structural works.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). UPDA/MMUP certification (Grade A ). Minimum
15 years of experience
in structural engineering, with a strong focus onsteel structures
. Proven experience inboth design and supervision
of large-scale steel projects. Strong knowledge ofBIM tools, structural software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla, AutoCAD)
. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Familiarity withQatar Construction Standards (QCS)
is an added advantage.Note:
