Key Responsibilities

• Lead and work within a team of structural engineers to deliver large and complex structural design projects in line with project requirements
• Prepare and review structural design drawings, specifications, and calculation submissions in accordance with applicable standards and authority regulations
• Ensure timely, professional, and accurate responses to all structural-related enquiries from clients and approving authorities
• Lead preparation of technical correspondence, design reports, and engineering studies related to structural works
• Take technical responsibility for engineering output, quality, and compliance of structural deliverables on assigned projects
• Coordinate closely with geotechnical specialists on soil-structure interaction and foundation-related matters
• Coordinate structural design activities with architecture, MEP, BIM, and other engineering disciplines to achieve fully integrated design solutions
• Interface directly with clients and approval agencies for building and structural design submissions and approvals
• Provide technical advice and support to other engineering departments on building structures and associated systems
• Provide technical input during pre-bid meetings, proposal evaluations, post-award discussions, and contract-related meetings
• Mentor and support the technical and professional development of junior and mid-level structural engineers
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Design Structural Manager

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate professional experience in structural engineering design and construction
• Strong expertise in building structures including reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel systems
• Proven experience delivering complex building structure designs
• Proficiency in BIM workflows and coordination within multidisciplinary models
• Experience in steel structure design for utility buildings and ancillary structures
• Coding or scripting skills to support automation, model checking, and workflow optimization
• Familiarity with computational design and automation tools such as Dynamo, Python, and Grasshopper is an advantage
