About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong independent design and detailing capabilities to join our multidisciplinary team in Sharjah. You will lead the complete structural design cycle -- from Validation, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, IFC, Shop Drawings, to As-built Drawings -- for reinforced-concrete and post-tensioned (PT) structures in high-rise residential and mixed-use developments under a Design & Build contract model.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute all phases of the structural design process: Validation ? Preliminary ? Detailed ? IFC ? Shop Drawings ? As-built Drawings. Perform structural analysis, modeling, load calculations, and design optimization. Review and guide design subcontractors and draftsmen for consistency and quality. Develop efficient reinforced-concrete and PT systems for constructability. Coordinate closely with Architectural, MEP, and Facade teams for design integration. Provide design updates based on site conditions and progress. Participate in BIM modeling and coordination using Revit Structure / Navisworks. Support material selection, technical clarifications, and construction methodology review. Prepare and verify all final structural documentation for hand-over

Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering. 8+ years of structural design and coordination experience (minimum 3 years in UAE or GCC). Available to join immediately Proven ability to independently deliver full structural design packages (concept ? as-built). Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Revit Structure. Strong expertise in reinforced-concrete and post-tensioned (PT) systems. Familiar with ACI, BS, Eurocode, and UAE Standards. Knowledge of Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defence, and DTPS approval procedures. Excellent technical documentation and communication skills. Fluent in English, Arabic language skills are an advantage. ______________ Preferred Qualifications Chartered Engineer / PE / SOE (UAE) license. Experience with Design & Build project delivery. Familiarity with rebar and PT shop-drawing detailing. Experience in BIM-based multidisciplinary coordination. Background in high-rise and basement structural systems.
