Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with strong independent design and detailing capabilities to join our multidisciplinary project team in Sharjah. The position covers the full structural design cycle -- from Validation, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, IFC, through Shop Drawings and As-built Drawings -- for reinforced-concrete and post-tensioned (PT) structures in high-rise residential and mixed-use developments delivered under a Design & Build contract model.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute all phases of structural design: Validation ? Preliminary ? Detailed ? IFC ? Shop Drawings ? As-built Drawings.

Perform structural analysis, modeling, load calculations, and technical optimization.

Review and guide design subcontractors and draftsmen to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Develop and evaluate reinforced-concrete and PT systems for constructability and efficiency.

Coordinate with Architectural, MEP, and Facade teams to maintain full design integration.

Provide timely design adjustments based on site conditions and construction progress.

Participate in BIM modeling, coordination, and clash detection using Revit Structure / Navisworks.

Support material selection, technical clarifications, and construction methodology review.

Prepare and verify all structural documentation for hand-over, including As-built Drawings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Minimum 8 years of structural design and coordination experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE or GCC.

Proven ability to complete full structural design packages independently (from concept to as-built).

Proficient in structural software: ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Revit Structure.

Strong knowledge of reinforced-concrete and post-tensioned (PT) systems.

Familiar with international and local codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, UAE Standards).

Understanding of Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defence, and DTPS approval procedures.

Excellent technical reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Chinese or Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Chartered Engineer / PE / SOE (UAE) license is a plus.

Proven experience in full Design & Build project delivery.

Familiar with rebar and PT shop-drawing detailing.

Experience in BIM-based multi-disciplinary coordination.

Background in high-rise and basement structural design and construction.

Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED28,000.00 per month
