Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in structural design, with a strong focus on project management and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.

- Provide design drawings and produce sketches to incorporate into drawings by Designers / Drafters.

- Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

- Assume the role of Lead Engineer for assigned projects.

- Direct and supervise the activities of other Designers / Drafters.

- Coordinate work with other disciplines, such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.

- Perform additional responsibilities as necessary and appropriate.

Requirements / Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (higher qualification is a plus).

- Minimum of 7 years of structural design experience in the UAE, specifically in Ras Al Khaimah.

- Certified and classified as G+8 or higher with Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.

- Fully proficient in structural design software including ETABS, Safe, SAP, Prokon, STAAD Pro, etc.

- Experience in designing complex structural systems, including high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

- Strong understanding of UAE local building codes and standards.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
