Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Structural Engineer

with strong expertise in facade design and engineering. The ideal candidate will handle the analysis, design, and detailing of facade systems for medium to large-scale projects while coordinating closely with architects, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design of facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, canopies, skylights, and other envelope elements. Ensure compliance with international standards, local codes, and project specifications. Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and design teams. Review and approve structural calculations, shop drawings, and material submittals. Coordinate with architects and project teams to ensure design feasibility. Conduct value engineering to optimize materials, cost, and performance. Perform site inspections and resolve structural issues during fabrication and installation. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and method statements. Collaborate with suppliers and consultants for material and system selection.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). 5-10 years of experience in facade structural engineering (Gulf experience preferred). Proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, Strand7, Rhino/Grasshopper, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of aluminum, glass, and steel facade systems. Understanding of wind load, thermal movement, and anchorage design principles. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Membership in recognized engineering bodies (ICE, IStructE, etc.) is an advantage.
