Position Overview

AREC Engineering Consultants is seeking a highly qualified Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Unlimited Structural Engineer with 10-15 years of professional experience in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in structural engineering design, and regulatory compliance, along with advanced proficiency in all major structural software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, including Revit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the structural design process for various residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Prepare, review, and submit drawings and calculations for Dubai Municipality approvals or any other related Authorities. Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, international standards, and authority requirements. Perform advanced structural analysis and design using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000, etc.). Develop and coordinate BIM/Revit-based structural models for multidisciplinary integration. Supervise, mentor, and guide junior engineers and draftsmen within the structural team. Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated design solutions. Provide technical expertise during tendering, construction supervision, and value engineering stages. Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other regulatory authorities to secure project approvals. Review site conditions, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with approved designs.
Qualifications & Requirements

Dubai Municipality Approved Unlimited Structural Engineer license (mandatory). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university. 10-15 years of proven experience in Dubai with reputable engineering consultants. Strong command of structural design software: ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, PROKON, AutoCAD, Revit. Expertise in Revit Structure & BIM workflows. Deep knowledge of UAE and international building codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.). Excellent project coordination, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
