Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The role involves leading structural design projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and project management skills, with proficiency in both structural analysis software and BIM tools such as Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects. Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports. Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and client requirements. Conduct structural assessments and provide technical solutions for existing structures. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients throughout all project stages. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting staff. Perform site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design. Utilize BIM tools, especially Revit, for modeling, coordination, and design documentation. Prepare project progress reports and assist in proposal preparation when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). Professional Engineer license/Chartered Engineer certification is an advantage. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, including design and supervision. Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000). Proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit, for structural design and coordination. Excellent understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode). Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
