Job Description

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Structural Engineer for a high-profile project in the UAE, with prior experience working on Emaar developments and high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in technical site execution, structural detailing, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of work on-site. Key Responsibilities: o Oversee structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with design, quality standards, and safety regulations o Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications o Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors for timely approvals and execution o Inspect site conditions and construction activities, ensuring structural elements are installed correctly o Monitor and control construction progress, ensuring adherence to structural timelines o Identify and resolve any structural or design-related issues on-site o Collaborate with internal design, MEP, and QA/QC teams for integrated project delivery o Prepare site reports, method statements, and other technical documentation as required o Attend project meetings and liaise with client/consultant representatives on structural matters



Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of UAE experience in the construction of high-rise buildings o Must have worked on at least one Emaar project (e.g., Downtown, Dubai Hills, etc.) o Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) o Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.) o Hands-on experience in technical coordination, concrete works, structural steel, post-tensioning o Solid background in site supervision, inspection, and structural compliance o Familiar with structural software tools (e.g., ETABS, STAAD, SAFE) is a plus o Excellent communication and reporting skills o Must be based in the UAE and available to join on short notice
