Job Description

Monitor all technical matters pertaining to design development and technical considerations including incorporation of updates as required. Monitor in consultation with Consultants for the execution, administration and performance of the Design Development of the Structural systems. Endorse the methodology for ensuring the production of complete and approved design, tender and contract documentation in compliance with the approved Master Schedule approved by UDC top management. In consultation with the Executive Director Property Management, review short listing of suitable firms. Make recommendations to GM and Construction Managers regarding nomination and technical arrangements proposed by Consultant. Initiate and participate in Value Engineering studies and exercises prepared by the PMC Consultant as required. Review Reports prepared by consultants for staged submissions for conformity to accepted design standards, compliance with statutory requirements, completeness, accuracy and inter-disciplinary coordination. Prepare monthly and interim progress reports to the GM highlighting the elements requiring decisions by UDC. Liaise with construction team on the structural issues

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

Civil/Structural engineering work in construction projects: 6 years (Preferred)
