Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Site Inspection:

Conduct regular inspections of structural construction activities to verify compliance with design drawings and specifications.

Quality Control:

Implement quality control measures to ensure that materials, workmanship, and construction methods meet project requirements.

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve structural issues that may arise during construction, including deviations from the design or unexpected site conditions.

Coordination:

Coordinate with the site team, including contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors, to ensure smooth project execution.

Progress Monitoring:

Track project progress and identify potential delays or challenges.

Safety Supervision:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to the site team on structural matters, including material selection, construction techniques, and problem-solving.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of site inspections, quality control activities, and any deviations from the design.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering. Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural engineering for building projects. Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction practices. Experience with reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel structures. Knowledge of shoring, piling, and precast construction techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
