Job Description

We are searching for a highly experienced

Senior Structural Drafter

with strong technical command over structural detailing for

industrial, commercial, marine, and major landscaping projects

. The role requires advanced expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, a deep understanding of UAE authority standards, and the ability to supervise drafting tasks.

Candidates with villa-only experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Drafting & Technical Detailing

Raft foundations, pile caps, retaining walls Post-tension slabs (PT), structural steel detailing High-rise structural detailing and coordination Produce and review

reinforcement detailing, BBS, and IFC/shop drawings

. Build, manage, and update

Revit BIM 3D models

with high accuracy.

Authority Compliance

Lead drawing preparations for

ADM, TAMM, AAM

submissions. Ensure strict adherence to UAE codes, commenting cycles, and authority standards. Work with authority coordinators to close comments.

Coordination & Leadership

Coordinate across all disciplines (Structural, Architectural, MEP) to avoid clashes. Lead drafting reviews, maintain standards, templates, and quality control. Mentor junior drafters and allocate drafting tasks efficiently.

Documentation & Control

Maintain project documentation, drawing registers, revision tracking, and transmittals. Ensure accuracy in

as-built documentation

.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting.

5-7 years UAE experience

(Consultancy experience strongly preferred). Must have proven experience in

industrial, large commercial, marine, and landscaping projects

-- no villa background*.
Advanced proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit (Expert Level)

; Navisworks preferred. Strong knowledge of ACI, BS, and UAE standards. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
