Job Description
Job Title: Senior Storekeeper - Construction
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the storage and inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to understand material needs and delivery schedules. Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize discrepancies and ensure proper stock management. Implement and enforce safety and handling protocols for all stored materials. Supervise and train junior storekeepers and store personnel. Ensure the efficient layout and organization of the store to facilitate easy access and retrieval of materials. Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast material requirements based on project timelines. Prepare reports on inventory status and assist in budget preparation and cost control.
