Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Stakeholder Manager to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

Role and Responsibilities:

+ Identify, analyse and prioritize all stakeholders involved in the construction project, including clients, local communities, government agencies, contractors, suppliers, and other relevant parties.

+ Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy (aligned with the communications strategy), ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction and support for the project.

+ Conduct regular stakeholder analysis to identify their needs, expectations, concerns, and potential risks to the project.

+ Collaborate with project and other stakeholder engagement teams to incorporate stakeholder requirements and feedback into project plans and decision-making processes.

+ Facilitate effective communication channels between stakeholders, project teams, and other relevant parties, including organizing regular meetings, workshops, and presentations.

+ Manage stakeholder expectations by providing accurate and timely project updates, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts or issues that may arise.

+ Monitor and evaluate stakeholder engagement activities to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary adjustments.

+ Liaise with communications team to develop and deliver stakeholder communication materials, such as newsletters, reports, and presentations, to ensure transparent and consistent dissemination of project information.

+ Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to stakeholder management in construction projects, and apply them to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

+ Proven experience working as a Stakeholder Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.

+ Strong understanding of stakeholder management principles, techniques, and best practices.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

+ Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify stakeholder needs, risks, and potential conflicts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.

+ Proficient in using project management software, collaboration tools, and MS Office Suite.

+ Knowledge of local regulations and requirements related to stakeholder engagement in construction projects.
