Good To Have Skills : Terraform (Expert), Jenkins (Expert), Kubernetes (Expert), Cloud architecture (Strong), Database Modelling Concepts
Cloud Implementation

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant technical roles within large organizations
• Must have led at least two transformation project migrating on-prem workloads to public cloud
• Must be an expert in Terraform and Ansible with hands-on experience in cloud application migration
• Hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Experience in GitOps-driven configuration management and deployment
• Must be able to compare services across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI)
• Understanding of cloud adoption models, including CPU architectures, storage, and network connectivity
• Windows internals knowledge
• Good experience of automating pipelines for databases (e.g. creating users in a database, provisioning databases, etc)
• Good understanding of major database technologies like Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge in Public Cloud technologies
• Knowledge of API communications (REST/SOAP), and experience developing consumers/publishers for APIs
• Excellent scripting abilities in:
• Groovy (for Jenkins pipelines)
• Bash / PowerShell
• Python

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Ansible, Terraform, and orchestration using Jenkins
• Understanding of cloud connectivity principles, SDWAN, and private cloud connections
• Expertise in Repository and Artifact Management Tools: Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus
• Proficient in Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Preferred Skills
Conceptual understanding of Infrastructure Components:

• DNS: Authoritative, Non-Authoritative, Dynamic, bind DNS, Forwarder
• SSL Communication: SSL handshake, Cipher Suites, Encryption Algorithms
• Active Directory: Security OUs, group policies
• Certificates: SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL

Familiarity with Infrastructure & Security Tools:

• Load balancers, Site Selectors, Firewalls

Vault tools: CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault

• High Availability (HA) systems knowledge
• Working knowledge of ELK Stack and its components: Auditbeat, Filebeat
• Awareness of OS compliance policies such as CIS Benchmarks
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies

Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
• Certifications: Red Hat Certified Architect or equivalent; Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, OCI
