A new opportunity has come up from one of the well-known manufacturing firms in Abu Dhabi. They are looking for a Senior Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Risk Management. In this role, you will be identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the organization. Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies and policies, while also monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.

The main responsibilities will include the following:

• Maintain a robust risk management framework and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and frameworks to identify, assess, and manage risks across the organization.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments, including identifying potential risks, analyzing their potential impact, and formulating risk mitigation plans.

• Monitor and evaluate existing risk management processes and procedures, recommending improvements and enhancements as necessary.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk management processes are integrated into all business operations and decision-making processes.

• Provide guidance and support to business units in assessing and managing risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Develop and deliver risk management training programs to enhance risk awareness and foster a risk-aware culture within the organization.

• Stay updated on emerging risk management trends, regulations, and best practices, and recommend appropriate measures to address potential risks.

• Conduct regular risk reporting to senior management, highlighting key risks, trends, and mitigation strategies.

• Participate in the development and implementation of business continuity and crisis management plans.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulators, to ensure effective risk management and compliance.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor\'s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field. A Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree would be preferrable.

• PMI Risk Management Professional

• Proven experience (5+ years) in risk management, preferably in a corporate environment.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are a plus.

• Ability to conduct and drive structured complex analyses, problem solving, stakeholder management tasks to operationalize strategic initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

• Proficiency in risk management software and tools
