Act as a focal point between the scientific community and the organization, by building a connection

locally, regionally, and internationally with relevant stakeholders like academia, scientific

institutions, governments, and research funding programs to achieve the organization R&D agenda.

Roles and responsibilities:

\xef\x82\xb7 Develop outreach strategies, including determination of conferences that should be attended,

plans for press coverage, and other outreach activities.

\xef\x82\xb7 Receive and evaluate collaboration opportunities and research proposals from external parties.

\xef\x82\xb7 Plan, organize and participate in technical meetings and consultations that convene diverse

experts to advance key issues in scientific research.

\xef\x82\xb7 Attend and participate in multidisciplinary research team meetings and functions.

\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare briefing materials and summaries of meetings, workshops, and conferences.

\xef\x82\xb7 Identify and promote specific funding opportunities to support the development of

multidisciplinary grant proposals and projects based on team science and scholarship.

\xef\x82\xb7 Support R&D team by reading, analysing and organizing the response to requests for proposals,

requests for information, broad agency announcements, and other funding opportunity

announcements.

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide project management to proposal development efforts.

\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare for a variety of information exchanges with public and private sector science colleagues

working on research, programs, and policy related to research program priorities.

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist with the writing of non-technical proposal components (e.g., diversity and inclusion,

education and outreach, data management, facilities, etc.).

\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct team debriefing of project submissions to build on best practices and enhance

resubmission success.

\xef\x82\xb7 Develop institutional templates for common proposal components.

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide an editorial review of proposals.

\xef\x82\xb7 Perform other duties as assigned.
