Synopsis We're looking for a visionary Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design of innovative, integrated solutions across Flight & Network Operations and the Guest Services domain. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with Web & Mobile Digital Distribution, Offer & Order Management, Merchandising, Customer Management, Revenue Management, and Payment Systems to create seamless, future-ready experiences. • Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. Ensure that the architectural vision aligns with business goals, technological requirements, and user needs.
• Engage with key stakeholders (business units, IT teams, vendors) to understand their requirements and translate them into architecture enablers. Ensure all architectural decisions are well-communicated and align with strategic objectives.
• Oversee the integration of diverse technologies and systems within the airline's ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication, data flow, and interoperability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms to identify the most suitable solution. Provide recommendations based on scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical solutions to cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, best practices, and industry standards. Guide teams in troubleshooting complex technical issues and optimizing performance.
• Ensure that all solutions adhere to security, privacy, and compliance requirements. Work with security teams to identify potential risks and incorporate appropriate mitigations.
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for architectural decisions, designs, and configurations. Define and enforce architectural standards and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across the program.
• Identify and document technical risks related to the architecture, including system scalability, integration challenges, and potential downtime. Proactively work to mitigate these risks.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement solutions to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and scalability while maintaining optimal user experience.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Drive the continuous evolution of the architecture, making recommendations for new tools, methodologies, and improvements to the solution landscape.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining optimal performance.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners. Ensure the timely delivery of services and components that fit within the overall architectural vision.
• Ensure the architectural design is implemented within the agreed timeline and budget. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to track progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure that the solution design optimizes user experience and meets business and customer expectations.
• Define architectural enablers, align solutions with business and technical roadmaps, and collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure scalable and high-quality implementations.

Education & Experience

• 7+ years of work experience in solutions architecture expertise, with a proven track record in executing complex enterprise level projects. Prior experience in the airline industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree, with one or more certifications in solution and/or enterprise architecture preferred - e.g. SAFe Architect, TOGAF, Open Certified Architect, ISEB Architecture.
• Proven experience in recognizing the corporate strategy and realizing all business processes that define how a company achieves its strategic goals.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in senior stakeholder management and working closely with other architects, business teams, and project teams.
• Experience in seeking the alignment of business and IT, driving common approaches, delivering sustainable, re-usable enterprise architecture using both agile and waterfall.
