Senior Software Engineer - Quality Assurance

Job Summary:

To prepare and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, collaborating closely with both the QA team and project teams. To be able to maintain the quality and reliability of custom-built applications on the Oracle Fusion PaaS layer, starting with the Financials module and extending to HCM and Procurement. Additionally, to manage team reporting, provide technical guidance as needed, and contribute to all levels of testing to ensure high test effectiveness.

1. Roles & Responsibility:

Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all testing categories for custom-built applications developed on Oracle Fusion PaaS layer. Collaborate closely with both the QA team and project teams to align testing activities with project goals and timelines. Manage team reporting, providing necessary technical guidance and support to ensure effective testing practices. Utilize automation testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy. Gather and analyze project-related information to plan, schedule, execute, and deliver testing activities. Validate testing reports and outputs against each release to ensure quality and reliability. Ensure all testing procedures comply with company Quality Standards, including CMMI. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test effectiveness and overall project quality. Be well-versed in the Testing Life Cycle and all types of testing. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines.

3. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with over 8 years of experience in Testing cloud-based applications, especially Oracle Fusion Financials, HCM and Procurement modules.

4. Mandatory Experience

8 Years' experience in the following.

Testing ERP solutions, with focus on Oracle Fusion Financials, HCM, and Procurement modules. Testing cloud-based applications. Proficiency in the Testing Life Cycle. Competence in developing test cases, test specifications, and test scenarios. Expertise in developing and maintaining test automation scripts for Oracle Fusion applications. Achieving high test effectiveness, with a proficiency rate of 80% or higher. o High proficiency in bug tracking and reporting. Applying project management methodologies to software projects. Conducting SQERT-based project analysis. Knowledge of processes and standards such as CMMI and ITIL. Managing and guiding teams. Planning, scheduling, and work allocation.

5. Preferred Skills

Microfocus ALM, Boards - DevOps / JIRA, Oracle Application Testing Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
