Senior Software Analyst (for Uae Nationals Only)
Job Description
Work with the academic team leader to ensure full understanding of the change implications to current business processes and participate in every aspect of the development and implementation. Design and build product deliverables according to specifications, escalate technical design or specification issues to the business analyst/project manager, and work within a given timeframe to complete coding. Follow good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development. Work on application development projects, including requirements definition, analysis and design, data conversion, and testing, as well as enhancements and maintenance of existing applications. Assist with the development and implementation of security procedures for the database, including access and user account management, as required. Develop work plans and timelines for the assigned projects. Monitors progress to ensure the achievement of objectives. Test and upgrade applications' patches. Identify and resolve data extraction issues while developing new data schemas for the university's data warehouse. Create, modify, and tune DBs' schemas. Migrate/integrate data with different applications. Explore the new features and implement the required enhancements to the academic applications. * Test and troubleshoot any academic mobile application.
