Job Announcement Senior Social Media Producer, MBN Digital

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a Senior Social Media Producer to produce breaking and trending news stories across social platforms at our offices in Dubai. The Senior Social Media Producer is responsible for producing breaking and trending news stories across social platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. collaborating with the Social Media Lead to planning the day's news agenda; and assisting the Social Media Lead in leading a team of Social Media Producers. In the absence of the Social Media Lead, the Senior Social Media Producer will lead the team of social media producers to ensure the right content is disseminated on the right platforms in the right format & frequency. SPECIFIC DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities noted below are considered the essential functions of the job

Act as the team's deputy Social Media Lead when required. Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences. Plan, generate, edit, publish, and analyze engaging content daily - in close coordination with the editorial and creative teams. Create original text, images, and video content for social media. Create and manage publishing calendar across all platforms. Monitor interactions, analyze data, and provides actionable insights and recommendations. Efficiently tag content and add metadata before publishing. Monitor social SEO and traffic analytics. Support new methods to drive audience engagement. Occasionally communicate with followers, respond to certain queries according to pre-defined community guidelines. Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout). Suggest and implement new features to increase reach, boost brand awareness, and enhance engagement and interaction. Stay up to date with current technologies, trends in social media, design tools and applications. Experiment with content creation and distribution strategies for new platforms. Ensure the breaking news & live coverage are always published in a timely manner on the social media platforms. Publish TV segments on social media platforms - in collaboration with the news & interview desks. Manage and maintain MBN's social media accounts. OTHER DUTIES:

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At Least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or relevant field. Proven work experience in social media management and hands-on experience in writing for social media. Knowledge of SEO and keyword research, Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video). Excellent verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills. Knowledge of online and social media analytics and insights. Proven success and growth by experimenting with and exploring new platforms to increase a brand or publication's social media presence. Knowledge of all types of online and social media analytics & insights. Knowledge in video and graphic programs (i.e. Adobe Suite) and excellent copywriting and rephrasing skills. Excellent communication, Analytical & multitasking skills. Outstanding in writing catchy yet meaningful headlines and captions. Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment. Have an excellent command of the written Arabic language, coupled with a solid editorial judgement to ensure every single post on social media meets the requirements of MBN.
