The Senior Site Engineer - Systems is responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of systems installation, integration, testing, and site activities for large infrastructure projects under Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contracts, particularly in the rail and public transport sectors. The role ensures systems are delivered according to design specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines Missions/Main Duties:

• Supervise and monitor the on-site installation and integration of various systems (signaling, telecommunications, electrical, SCADA, AFC, CCTV, etc.).
• Review and interpret design drawings, technical specifications, and method statements, ensuring correct implementation and compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify quality, progress, and adherence to safety standards.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, interfacing issues, and site constraints during installation and testing phases.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, suppliers, design engineers, and client representatives for effective execution and resolution of issues.
• Support and monitor the systems testing and commissioning activities, ensuring system performance meets project requirements.
• Manage site documentation, including inspection records, daily reports, non-conformance reports, and as-built drawings.
• Lead and manage system interfaces across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment between civil, track, rolling stock, and MEP teams to avoid clashes and integration delays.
• Oversee contractor's compliance with project schedules, proactively identifying risks to key milestones and implementing mitigation measures to maintain overall program delivery.
• Ensure adequate implementation of permit-to-work, HSE procedures, and safety protocols.
• Participate in technical meetings, interface workshops, and project progress reviews.

Profile/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years' site experience in systems engineering roles within major infrastructure/PMC projects (rail/metro preferred).
• Strong knowledge of systems installation, integration, and testing processes.
• Solid understanding of international codes, standards, and best practices applicable to rail and transportation systems.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary site teams and resolve technical issues efficiently.
