Senior Site Architect (Consultancy Background)
Job Overview:
The Senior Site Architect is the primary architectural authority on site, ensuring that the construction of the high-rise building (G+30) adheres strictly to the design intent, contract documents, architectural specifications, and local regulations. Acting as the client's (Consultant's) representative, you will resolve design conflicts, review submittals, and ensure the highest quality of architectural workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve all architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups against contract specifications and design intent.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor the quality of architectural works (finishes, facade systems, partitions, waterproofing, etc.).
• Chair site meetings with the contractor to address architectural issues, RFIs, and propose technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, authority regulations, and international best practices.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report any delays related to architectural aspects.
• Inspect and approve samples of materials and workmanship prior to installation.
• Coordinate closely with the Structural, MEP, and other discipline teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Prepare daily and weekly architectural inspection reports, snag lists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 12 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 8 years in a consultancy-side site supervision role.
• Proven track record of working on high-rise building projects up to G+30 (or higher) from foundation to completion.
• Must be professionally registered (e.g., RIBA, AIA, or equivalent local authority).
• In-depth knowledge of facade systems, interior fit-out, modern building materials, and architectural detailing.
