Provide specialist support to SAP EHS workstream in the SAP S/4 HANA Transformation
Program. Support implementation of the HSSE business processes and guide the 'System
Integrator' team with key design decisions on implementing and improving business processes and functions after due analysis and consultations. Support the Head and work collaboratively with Business Process Owners and ensure delivery of the HSSE business process requirements and successful transition to the new S4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
? Deliver key design decisions, ensure timely implementation activities as per Project plan
for the HSSE (including GRC Audit Management) workstream in the SAP S/4HANA
transformation program, including planning, design, testing, and deployment.
? Identify, engage and advise Business on Process Improvements and new business
functions and solutions to business problems
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business units, external consultants) to
ensure a smooth implementation of HSSE and GRC Audit Management business
processes
? Maintain the integration of business processes within the various HSSE, Audit
Management modules and with other modules like Materials Management, Plant
Maintenance, HCM etc. Work closely with the Technical Team for effective management
of Security, Roles and Authorizations.
Lead the testing activity and ensure multiple rounds of testing of all BPML processes are
delivering expected results and with no critical errors
? Drive data migration strategy for HSSE -related data, ensuring accuracy and
completeness.
? Oversee fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and solution design for HSSE business processes
? Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
? Escalate and Resolve SAP product issues through active liaising with SAP AG
? Contribute towards sectional KPI's and targets that are aligned to the Division/department objectives
Support the Head in establishing governance frameworks within relevant Directorate(s) for
Project Governance, Scope Management and Cost Control
? Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies specific to HSSE processes
? Drive change management, training, and stakeholder engagement for HSE business
processes and associated change impacts
? Adherence to Project Implementation Standards and Quality Management Systems
(QMS) processes to achieve a standard approach to work practices and technologies
? Anticipate, evaluate, mitigate on any delays, foreseen obstacles, design and quality
issues and potential risks. Apprise/Escalate to the Head as necessary
Educational Qualification
? Bachelor's degree in engineering / petroleum / management / or equivalent
? Preferably formalized training in SAP EHS and/or AM.
Professional Experience
? 7+ years of professional working experience, of which a minimum of 4 years hands-on
SAP implementation / support experience with at least one full life cycle implementation
project in SAP EHS covering Business Process Design, Configuration, Gap Analysis,
Development, Testing and Training
? Strong understanding of HSSE business processes: incident management, risk
assessments, Waste Management, Audit Management, Environmental and compliance
reporting etc.
? Good knowledge of integration touch points of EHS Module with PM, MM & HR Modules
and ability to understand requirements for establishing interfaces to external systems.
? Knowledge and implementation experience of GRC Audit Management will be an added
advantage
? Should be a proven self-starter and team player and be able to coordinate with other team members in completing assigned tasks.
Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Operates
independently using mature judgment in planning and performing assignments and
achieving defined objectives
? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
? Professional business or SAP training (e.g., HSE Functional, ISO, SAP EHS) is a plus.
? Exposure to agile or hybrid project management methodologies will be an added advantage
