Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives (DPD) is growing strongly and is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Manager - MENA (Middle East and North Africa), based in the vibrant city of Dubai, and reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director in TMA (Turkey, Middle East and Africa).

As the Senior Sales Manager, you will lead a talented sales team in MENA, driving them towards achieving our approved objectives and developing effective sales strategies to engage and delight our valued DPD customers. Your primary focus will be on sales coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration within the team, and spearheading business growth in the Sub region.

Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with our esteemed partners in the region to forge strong alliances and seize exciting opportunities. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, but the impact you make will be immeasurable.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Lead and drive sales, after sales and marketing activities for DPD product portfolio of frequency converters, inverters, soft starters, software, and services in MENA.
• Preparing and managing strategic plans, budgeting, budget control, and reporting systems.
• Proactively managing and developing the portfolio of end-users, system integrators, panel builders, engineering & design firms, consultants, and contractors in sales territory in order to grow our market share.
• Leading a team of sales and technical support experts located in multiple locations in MENA.
• Ensuring development of the team members, building teamwork and synergy for ongoing success.
• Developing and managing sales in focus industry verticals including mining, food & beverage, water & wastewater, HVAC-R, cement, material handling, marine, oil and gas and others.
• Accountable for the achievement of sales, price, profitability and cost targets
• Determines and manages the prioritization of customer activities.
• Gives input and recommends current/future customers\' needs of products, solutions & services to respective Business.
• Identifying new partners in the market and building network.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering with good technical understanding and business management qualification,
• Formal sales management and account management experience,
• At least 10+ years sales and leadership experience,
• Experience managing large complex customer accounts,
• Ability to think strategically and connect to the customer\'s business objectives,
• Experience in Account Management and Sales Development,
• Strategic planning and business case development experience,
• Ability to champion the customer\'s needs across Danfoss executive team,
• Willingness to travel as required,
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
