Key Responsibilities
To ensure every booking is handled with utmost care, efficiency and with a sense of urgency in timely manner.
Ensuring that emails are answered on a timely basis and proactively contact customers and follow them for business and ensure to plug the gap essentially when sales and customers are unable to reach each other.
Coordinating with the internal operators such as Operation, Pricing, Accounts department etc. is vital as well as with external vendors such as transporters, carriers and other service providers.
Responsible to do the right calculation and prepare the quote for the customers specifically focused on Ocean freighting product.
Communicating with overseas offices and agents to understand various logistics need of customer as well as filing rates thru Pricing desk for freight management etc.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate should have minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding industries.
It is preferable that he/she has a good understanding of the UAE export/ import market, shipping industry and logistics processes.
The candidate is a team player and possesses strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Should be currently located in UAE and be able to join immediately.
