ABOUT THE FUNCTION
Provides leadership, and balanced scorecard approach to all areas of Human Resources Management.
Ensure all HR strategies support the overall hotel goals and objectives by attracting and recruiting right fit talent, ensuring development strategy in place to motivate and drive a dynamic, highly engaged, high performance team.
High levels of Emotional Intelligence, Integrity and compliance relating to confidentiality of the HR function, and respectful cultural responsibilities.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Tertiary qualification or min 5 years in HR Leadership role with experience in globally recognized properties
Qualification in or pursing studies in HR discipline advantageous.
Fully conversant in business tools, including financial and strategic planning.
A highly organized, open and objective leadership style, who has a collaborative approach to ensure business success
PERFORMANCE DRIVEN CULTURE; WHAT WILL YOU BE MEASURED AGAINST
Ensure all Human Resources associates, and all Division/Department Heads are conversant with and uphold all HR policies.
Contribute to monthly P&L review, monthly BRM, accurate monthly forecasting and oversee the preparation of HR Annual budget incl. CAPEX
Engagement: Create and implement highly engaging and meaningful Engagement Calendar.
When necessary, initiate a job role review exercise which includes job analysis & evaluation to be able to update the existing structure and classification.
Possess full knowledge of emergency procedures, and ensure all associates are always aware of emergency procedures.
Develop and implement associates recognition programs.
Act as legal consultant to ensure implementation of due process in all cases pertaining to coaching, counselling and disciplinary matters
Ensure effective consultation with the legal counsel of Corporate Office on all legal matters and requirements.
Oversee the administration of the performance appraisal program, ensuring that it serves its purpose as a gauge of personal performance for the period, and as a developmental tool.
