Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer / Project Director to oversee construction supervision for our projects in Dubai.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and construction management, demonstrating exceptional leadership and project management skills. This role demands a proactive approach to ensure that all aspects of the construction process are executed efficiently, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for managing on-site teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes.
Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the construction supervision team, ensuring that all project activities are aligned with the project goals and timelines.

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and deliver projects on time.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction process.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure transparency and address any concerns promptly.
• Evaluate contractor performance and provide feedback to ensure that project standards are met.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Preferred Candidate: * Proven experience as a Senior Resident Engineer or Project Director within engineering consultancy

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations specific to Dubai and the UAE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or engineering are a plus.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of construction.
