Senior Resident Engineer (Consultancy Background)
Job Overview:
The Senior Resident Engineer is the ultimate leader and decision-maker for the consultancy team on site. You have overall responsibility for the supervision, administration, and successful delivery of the entire high-rise project (G+40), ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire site supervision team (all disciplines).
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client, contractor, and the consultancy firm.
• Approve all major technical submittals, variations, and interim payment certificates.
• Ensure overall compliance with the contract documents, specifications, and local laws.
• Chair weekly coordination and progress meetings with all stakeholders.
• Make executive decisions on site-related technical and contractual matters.
• Oversee the project schedule, identify critical delays, and propose recovery plans.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures on site.
• Prepare monthly progress reports for the client and senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in senior site supervision roles within a consultancy.
• Must have prior experience as a Resident Engineer on at least two completed high-rise projects of G+40 or similar scale and complexity.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and contract administration skills.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or Chartered status (CEng) is essential.
