Description
This is a senior-level opportunity within the Financial Institutions team, based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Originating and managing relationships with African financial institutions, leveraging an existing client book.Driving trade finance and FI-related business development, including syndicated loans and asset distribution.Leading strategic initiatives to grow the bank's African FI portfolio.Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.Collaborating with internal stakeholders across risk, legal, and operations to ensure seamless execution.Depending on experience, the role may be positioned at Senior Relationship Manager or Head of FI level.
Profile
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
10-15 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on financial institutions and trade finance.Proven origination experience and an active book of African FI clients.Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, trade finance products, and market dynamics.Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.Fluency in English; French or other African regional languages would be an advantage.A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
