This is a senior-level opportunity within the Financial Institutions team, based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Originating and managing relationships with African financial institutions, leveraging an existing client book.
• Driving trade finance and FI-related business development, including syndicated loans and asset distribution.
• Leading strategic initiatives to grow the bank's African FI portfolio.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across risk, legal, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Depending on experience, the role may be positioned at Senior Relationship Manager or Head of FI level.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• 10-15 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on financial institutions and trade finance.
• Proven origination experience and an active book of African FI clients.
• Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, trade finance products, and market dynamics.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
• Fluency in English; French or other African regional languages would be an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
