React Native Engineer

What we expect from you

We are looking for a superstar React Native Developer to help us shape the future of home services. You will be working with a team of fellow engineers designing and developing mobile applications for both the consumer and our internal operations. You will work on our mobile platforms, implementing features across the entire stack.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop solutions Design, implement, and maintain new features while managing the existing codebase Be part of a team actively developing A/Bs, prototypes Deliver high-quality code within set deadlines, ensuring clean, maintainable solutions Expand and maintain comprehensive unit tests and increase code coverage Optimize app performance to create smooth, responsive mobile experiences Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in mobile app development Willingness to participate in our on-call rota

What we are looking for

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native development (Bonus: Experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Java, Android SDK, and iOS SDK) Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Redux, and CI/CD pipelines Experience using Git for source control Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g. Detox or Maestro) Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions Solid understanding of SOLID principles and best coding practices A proactive, self-driven approach, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills Understanding/experience of AI Tools, AI Agents and Automation Frameworks
